“My farm has two alligators, an adult one and a baby alligator. I drew a well for my family. My barn is a heart because I love animals so much. The reason I have a slide is so I could get to the farm quicker and so I wouldn’t waste my energy to get to the farm. The reason I have apples and grapes is because I love them and they’re healthy for you. the reason I have puddles all over the place is so my animals can drink while they’re out of the barn. The reason I have alligators is because I had two ponds left over and one was little and the other one was big so I though why don’t I get a mother alligator and a baby alligator.”

“My farm has flowers, food and sproutlets. It even has a giant flower painted on the side. I think that when I got my idea for it what inspired me was how a few months ago, I saw a giant picture of children (black and white) to symbolize peace between blacks and whites. After that I thought about the picture I had seen and thought a giant flower would be nice.”

“I love my farm. It’s a dream come true. Butterflies and parrots roam around on the hillside. Both have a building to themselves. To save the environment and money, I grow food for the parrots (strawberries and blueberries) and flowers for the butterflies (paniseis, tulips, other). The strawberries are not visible in my picture. The style of my barn is old-fashioned, made of wood and bricks. On my farm we cut our own wood from the forest behind the house (barn). My farm is special because it fulfills my dreams. Besides, who has a farm that’s unique with parrots and butterflies? My farm is fun, healthy for the environment, and resourceful.”

“Welcome to Water Ray Farm. Here at my farm we raise water rays on Saturn. We never abuse our animals. They swim freely in the midst of Saturn. My animals produce fruit such as peaches and pears. My farm is a tree that has been hollowed out. My farm is special because people also live in it. Each family gets one water ray for a pet. Also my dream farm is healthy because we don’t pollute out surroundings. My dream is a happy and healthy environment. ”

Honorable Mention – Maygan Dempsey, 5th Grade

“My alligators on my farm are not abused. They are given food and a moat to swim in. They also protect my house. I allow people to come feed the alligators. They use fishing poles to feed them. I sell chunks of meat in my bait shop to feed them. The water is spacious enough for all the alligators. That is my dream farm.”
