DreamARCHITECTURE - Draw Your Dream Zoo
2011 marked the 14th year for dreamArchitecture K – 5th grade AIA/BAF art competition. We had 800 entries representing 12 schools. Our theme was inspired by the new Trails of Africa addition to the Birmingham Zoo. In addition to winning art/architecture prizes, the zoo gave the overall winners a day with the zoo keeper, ZOO Camp and adopt an animal. The winning students enjoyed a day working with architects and touring behind the scenes at the zoo.
