FREE LUNCH & PRODUCT SHOW – October 13th
AIA members, please save the date for the 3rd annual sponsor appreciation product show and luncheon.  The venue is Temple Emanu-El, parking is so easy and free!  AIA is fortunate to have a wide range of sponsors who will be exhibiting.  There will be lots of door prizes.  Bring plenty of business cards so you have a chance to win each door prize. Your travel time will be at a minimum, no hotel expenses, no meal expenses – what a great AIA member benefit!  See you at the FREE PRODUCT SHOW, Oct. 13th!!

P.S.  Sponsors, our annual golf tournament is Oct. 15th.  Try to plan ahead and have your corporate people in town for the appreciation product show, make appointments at the product show with local firms on Wednesday and play in the AIA tournament on Thursday.  Your corporate people will know you are doing your job and networking when it is needed the most and save them money.

AIA & IIDA + ADA Workshop= Huge Success!
What a great turn out of architects and interior designers!  We would like to thank everyone for attending, 4.5 hours is a long time to sit, be out of the office, pay attention, or stay awake during a meeting.  BUT we had great speakers who made the presentation interesting and informative.  Irene Bowen and Jim Terry provided us with valuable facts and shed light on several codes.  Click here for photos

AIA Emerging Professionals Site Visit – PHELAN Flats         

Special thanks to Herrington Architects, Greenvine Properties and Bluwood for inviting the AIA Emerging Professionals group to the open house of Phelan Flats. The event was a huge success with an interesting project, great turnout, good weather and good food.

EP’s - In need of IDP community service hours? IIDA is having three “Habitat for Humanity Saturday” volunteer days. Anyone is invited to help with the Bennett house. The Basic Essentials of Running a Small Business
What a great meeting!  We had just the right number (20) for this meeting.  Michael Dollins with Dollins & Associates provided information on every business type you can open/form and the downsides that go along with each business type.  We had lots of questions for him and he answered them all, maybe not what we wanted to hear, but what we needed to hear!
